New York State Standards of Practice Home Inspection

What a Standard Inspection Is Not

A New York State Standards of Practice inspection:

• Is not technically exhaustive

• Does not include destructive testing

• Does not move personal belongings or stored items

• Does not predict future conditions

• Does not include code compliance evaluation

• Does not guarantee future performance of systems
